Greenpoint, Brooklyn, NY
This is another shot from my walk about in Greenpoint, Brooklyn experimenting with the Olympus OM-D E-M5 micro four thirds camera. Ultimately I decided to stick with the Nikon for now. If the budget allows for a second system in the future, it's not a bad choice for a body, but I can't say I fell in love.
This entrance is a mess. I don't know about anyone else, but I wouldn't want to work here. There are NYC building permits plastered all over the door which means that someone will eventually get around to making this place usable, maybe. If you look closely, you'll notice that the 1st floor tenant didn't even bother to spell the name of their company correctly. I also like the irony of a company called Future Genesis at this location. There is something so fascinating about photographing urban grit.
