A Path Less Traveled
This is one of those shots you can't possibly plan. You would simply never expect someone to be walking across a glass walkway high up in the windows of Grand Central Station. I was there looking for something to capture when I saw this fellow walking up there as casually as if he were walking down the street. For him, it's probably normal. For me, the image captures the contradiction of one person traveling against the grain of the masses below him, everyone trying to get somewhere, except his journey was slightly different. All within the context of one of the world's most well known transit pathways and architectural achievements.
I hope your path in 2013 brings you to where you want to go and that the journey there is unique and meaningful.
