Orange County, NY

Living in the city can be a lot of fun. We are one subway stop from Manhattan and access to pretty much anything we want, when we want it. Be it food, culture, architecture, art or subjects to photograph, it's all there and can be exciting. It can also  be a bit stressful with all the non-stop action and pressure. That's why every once in a while, we need to balance the hectic with the peaceful and embrace the nature around us.

This photo was made in the small village Cornwall-On-Hudson about one hour and a half north of NYC. We saw people (and dogs) taking in all sorts of activities and enjoying the bright sunny day. I think it's pretty amazing that we don't have to travel too far to experience a different environment and change our perspective a bit, it helps to clear the mind.
